The second day started with the CEO dialogue. No prizes for what the topic was. Its the National Broadband Infrastructure. The CEOs were supposed to discuss and "debate" whether there is a role for multiple players in an area where currently there is only one dominant player. Well probably it was still early in the morning and the CEOs didn't bring their gloves with them. There were several good points raised by CEOs of Maxis and TimeDotCom. But then what do you do. The Government has decided. You just play along and hope for the best :)
I later followed Track 3. Topic was growth in local content. Good discussion. Good points raised. Issues driven. Well moderated by Celcom's CEO. This could be a blog entry itself. So far, the best track just because the moderator succeeded in bringing out the issues rather than allowing the presenters to bore the audience with slides of powerpoint. Following up from the morning's discussion on local content, I then expected more of the great discussions in the panel on growth in games and animation. I didn't stay until the end but I enjoyed Insipidea's MD presentation. But it wasn't as "heated" as the morning's discussion. And the day went by...
